I’m the person behind plusevmd — one year out from walking into the WSOP 2027, and I’m not pretending to be further along than I am.

WSOP 2026 just wrapped, and I watched it the way I always have: from the outside. That ends now. I’ve given myself 365 days to rebuild my game from scratch — study, hand review, bankroll discipline, and the mental side of the game that most players never talk about.

This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s the full process, posted in real time: the sessions that go well, the ones that don’t, the study grind in between. I’m doing this because I think documenting the actual work — not just the result — is worth watching. If you’re building toward something of your own, or just want to see whether a year of focused effort can turn “Rec” into “Reg,” this is that experiment.

The goal: Play at least 1 event at the WSOP 2027.  Who knows, maybe even The Main Event.
